John BurkHart - Architect and Builder of the Grove Chapel

John Burkhart (sometimes last name spelled without an "h") was a prominent architect and contractor who lived in Kenton, Ohio during the late 19th and 20th centuries. John was born in Tiffin, Ohio and moved to Kenton at the age of 10. He trained under his father who was an architect for over 40 years. John Burkhart specialized and was widely known for his unique stone and brick construction.
